Who we are
Citadel Ministries is a charitable company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales (company 02470082, charity 802969), of 41 Parsonage Road, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 4AW. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
What we collect and why
- Forms on this site (contact and invitations): your name, email address and what you tell us, so we can reply. Submissions are processed by our hosting provider's form service and emailed to us.
- Donations and purchases: handled by Zeffy. Zeffy collects your name, email, address, payment details and, for UK taxpayers, your Gift Aid declaration. We receive your name, contact details, gift amount and Gift Aid status, never your card details. Gift Aid declarations are shared with HMRC through Swiftaid.
- Sign-up (emails, prayer team and webinars): if you sign up, the form sends your name, email address, country and anything you tell us about how you could help to Kit, our email provider, which is based in the United States. You are added to our list only after you click the link in the confirmation email. We send monthly teaching and news, prayer requests and webinar joining links. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Legal basis
Consent (for updates and prayer needs), contract (for orders and donations), and legal obligation (Gift Aid records, which HMRC requires us to keep for six years).
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with the service providers named above, with HMRC for Gift Aid, and where the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by writing to ian@citadelministries.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies, so it shows no cookie banner. Embedded Zeffy forms may set cookies needed to process a payment while you use them. Our sign-up forms, provided by Kit, use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam sign-ups, which may set cookies needed for that security check. If we add anonymous visitor statistics in future we will use a cookieless service and update this page.
