About Citadel Ministries

A stronghold for healing and hope.

Citadel Ministries exists to equip the next generation to pray for the sick, serve with compassion and share the hope of Jesus Christ, and to support the care of children and families through Citadel Ministries Mahajanga in Madagascar.

A mountain of men and women who would move in the power of God and see signs and wonders.

The prophetic word Ian and Rosemary received
Our story

From one prophetic word to believers all over the world

Many years ago Ian and Rosemary Andrews received a prophetic word that they were to build a mountain of men and women who would move in the power of God and see signs and wonders. Since then they have taught in 44 countries and territories that every believer can and should pray for the sick.

God has used Ian to bring healing revival to areas and nations, from Quebec and Minneapolis to Denmark, Norway and Toronto. Today there are pockets of believers all over the world, trained by the Andrews or by their disciples, who pray for the sick in their churches and on their streets.

Our vision now reaches further: to see healing take place outside the church, in the marketplace, where the people are, and to care practically for vulnerable children in Madagascar.

Statement of faith

What we believe

  1. The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, given under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, infallible, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
  2. There is one living and true God, manifested as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, infinitely perfect and eternal in existence, the Creator of all things and the Author of eternal redemption.
  3. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only and all-sufficient Saviour: God manifest in the flesh as the very Son of God, true God and true man, Creator of all things with the Father, and the appointed Judge of all.
  4. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, his vicarious death on behalf of lost humanity, his burial, his bodily resurrection, his ascension, his High-Priestly ministry in the heavenlies, and his physical return to the earth.
  5. We believe in the Person of the Holy Spirit, who changes us into the likeness of Christ in thought, word and deed.
  6. We believe in the creation of humanity in God's image, the fall through sin, just condemnation, and the need of personal salvation through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
  7. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, subsequent to the new birth, with the biblical evidences of speaking with other tongues, the enduement of power to witness, and the accompanying gifts, graces and fruit of the Spirit.
  8. Christ is the Head of the Church, which consists of all who have repented of their sin and confessed Christ as Lord and Saviour in water baptism.
  9. The greatest commandments for everyday Christian living are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love others as ourselves (Mark 12:29–31).
  10. Divine healing is part of the gift of salvation, whether by the laying on of hands, the anointing with oil, prayer cloths, or by faith alone.
  11. We believe in the physical, personal, soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Titus 2:12–14; 2 Thessalonians 1:7–10).
  12. We believe in the five-fold ministries and in the need for the Church to have biblically functioning apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, so that the body of Christ may be built up (Ephesians 4:11–13).
  13. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the everlasting blessing of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
