I had total knee replacement surgery and the pain was excruciating. During the evening service I felt the Lord wanted me to dance before Him. With a metal kneecap I could not bend, that was no small thing. Suddenly my feet took off and I was healed, and I danced before the Lord.
Healing ministry
Healing restored to the whole church.
Our primary burden is to see the healing ministry restored and fully functioning in the body of Christ, so that everyone can move in healing.
The vision
Going where the people are
Our focus is on equipping people and releasing the anointing so that they have the confidence, knowledge and faith to move ahead in praying for people and seeing them healed.
As we move further into the twenty-first century, our vision is to see healings taking place outside the church, in the marketplace. Taking healing and the prophetic onto the streets, to demonstrate the love of Father God in real, practical, life-changing terms. Jesus healed people whether they followed him or not, and our model should be the same. Every Christian is a minister and should expect God to use them in their normal daily lives.
These are exciting days, and we follow a Saviour who still loves to reveal himself in healing.
How a healing service works
- Teach. Ian explains from Scripture how to pray for the sick effectively, and what gets in the way.
- Words of knowledge. Specific conditions are called out and people respond.
- Pray in pairs. The congregation prays for one another. Nobody is a spectator.
- Testify. People who are healed say so, and faith rises for the next person.
